Wide Angle Tasmania's aim is to nurture emerging talent in film and video production in metropolitan and regional Tasmania. It provides short courses in digital editing and camera techniques and has equipment for hire at affordable rates, including cameras, lighting and sound equipment and post production facilities.

Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS)

The AFTRS is the national centre of excellence in professional education and training for the film, broadcast and digital media production industries. The Tasmanian Office coordinates a range of AFTRS short courses that are delivered in the State, as well as being a point of contact for anyone interested in applying to the AFTRS full-time program.
