1.1 Digital Media Fund
This new fund has been developed in recognition of the need to strategically drive growth in narrative-based content for digital platforms.
It encourages Tasmanians to demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach and develop, adopt and exploit new and emerging business models for the creation and delivery of compelling online screen content.
Applications can be for either development or production funding of up to $25 000, in the form of an equity investment, for eligible projects which must be:
- cross media
- trans-media
- computer games
- interactive drama or, comedy for online or mobile delivery (not simply ‘click to play’)
- online or mobile drama, comedy or documentary webisodes
Ineligible content includes one off productions, re-formatting traditional media content, content that is simply for educational purposes and information delivery, and game-play which does not have a strong narrative.
