Jane Binning Casting offers a complete screen test service and can also scout talent for specific role requirements, and act as casting director, talent coach, or talent co-ordinator.

Casting Director Jane Binning has over 15 years’ experience on both sides of the camera. She has acted and directed, and worked extensively with other actors and directors including over six years experience specifically in the field of casting.

Cooper Screen Academy

Cooper Screen Academy helps Tasmanian actors learn the skills and knowledge needed to forge successful professional careers in the entertainment industry.

With the support of Screen Tasmania, the Academy provides professional acting training for Tasmanian performers aged 10 years to adult, including exciting school holiday programs and, introductory courses to all corners of the state, as well as Q and As and training intensives with interstate industry professionals.

Academy Director, Sara Cooper, brings 15 years professional performance experience in film, television, radio, stage and voice to her teaching.  She is a qualified drama teacher holding a Bachelor of Education with a Drama Major from the University of Tasmania (1992), and is a graduate of the John Bolton Theatre School, Victoria (1997).
