Made a digital feature film in the last year? Over $40,000 in prizes to be won! Australian and New Zealand filmmakers have just one month remaining to enter their films into 2011 DigiSPAA digital filmmaking competition.
This year's winner will walk away with $15,000 cash and $20,000 worth of post-production, a guaranteed screening of the winning film on the Movie Extra channel and a return airfare and free registration to the prestigious CineMart International Film Festival Rotterdam.
In addition to offering one of Australasia's most lucrative film prizes, DigiSPAA gives entrants the opportunity to have their films seen by the best in the industry, with judges including film industry veteran, SPAA president and head of IFM world releasing, Antony I Ginnane and Profile Creative director and producer Daniel Scharf.
The winner will be announced to an audience of industry professionals at the annual SPAA conference in November and with a ticket to Rotterdam, will have the opportunity to network with distributors and other producers from around the world.
Applications close at 5pm on Friday 16th September 2011. Eligible films are feature length, with a running time of at least 70mins, digitally produced and completed to advanced post-production stage no earlier than 30 August 2010, and independently funded.
