AFTRS Creative Business Short Course
The Australian Film Television and Radio School holds Running Your Own Creative Business Short Course

This one-day short course is designed for anyone working in a creative field who wants to maintain their financial viability.
It will answer questions like:
- what are the bare necessities of running a creative business?
- will a business plan help?
- how do I manage an irregular income?
- what financial and taxation requirement are there?
- do I ned a contcat and how can I tell if it's a good one?
- how can copyright help me make money?
- how can I market my business to bring in more clients and profits?
Answers will be provided by experience media producer and author, Monica Davidson. Monica wrote Freelancing for Australians - one of the For Dummies series of books.
